Job summary

Cleo is hiring a Support Engineer in Bengaluru to join our India operations. You will manage the CIC environment within Cleo B2B Cloud systems, respond to incidents, and troubleshoot customer issues to maintain operational excellence.

You will work with EDI mappings, AS2/FTP/SFTP protocols, and data formats like XML and flat files. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to deliver reliable, scalable integrations for our 4,000+ customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with EDI mapping between EDI and XML/flat files.
• Solid knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Experience with data transfer protocols AS2, FTP/SFTP and HTTPs.
• Familiarity with XML, flat files and spreadsheets.
• Exposure to basic API concepts and SQL queries.
• Team player with good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the CIC environment within Cleo B2B Cloud systems.
• Respond to incidents and alerts and troubleshoot customer issues.
• Investigate EDI data issues and report root cause to customers.
• Bug-fix EDI translation issues in production.
• Onboard trading partners and create SFTP/AS2 setups.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality customer support.
• Escalate critical issues promptly.
• Own customer systems and work until issues are resolved.

• Experience with EDI mapping (EDI to XML, EDI to flat file etc.)
• Good understanding of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Experience with XML, flat files and spreadsheets.
• Experience with transfer protocols such AS2, FTP/s, SFTP and HTTP/s.
• Team player with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills

• Exposure to basic API concepts
• Exposure to basic database concepts and SQL queries.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in B2B/EDI Support role
• Experience in Cleo Products

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the CIC environment within Cleo B2B Cloud systems.
• Respond to incidents and/or event-driven alerts and troubleshoot customer issues.
• Investigate data related EDI issues and inform the customers with the root cause.
• Bug-fixes for the EDI translation issues identified in production.
• Trading partner on-boarding and creation of SFTP/AS2 setups.
• Work effectively with other internal departments to ensure the highest level of support for customers.
• Timely escalation of critical issues.
• Exhibit a sense of ownership of customer systems and work on issues until completely resolved.
