Job summary

Primary Skills :

• 4+ years of full-time experience
• Knowledge on EDI with work experience on any Tool
• Build, test, and maintain data mapping and translation rules to convert business documents into standardized formats
• Troubleshoot Transactions: Monitor daily file transmissions, investigate transmission failures, and resolve translation errors.
• Partner Onboarding: Lead the end-to-end setup, testing, and integration of new clients, vendors, or trading partners.
• System Integration: Collaborate with IT and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) teams to align data flows with internal systems.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure secure data exchange meets industry protocols and maintain up-to-date process documentation.
• Technical Protocols: Familiarity with EDI standards like ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and communication protocols like AS2, SFTP, or VAN.
• Mapping Tools: Experience with translator software such as IBM Sterling Integrator, Gentran, or OpenText.
• Database Knowledge: Knowledge in SQL and data structure analysis.
• Should be good in Excel
• Experience in Business Analysis, Requirements Analysis & Elicitation, Managing Requirements, Scope & Stakeholders
• Working knowledge of Agile framework
• Should be self-motivated and PROACTIVE
• Should have experience working with US/UK customers and have ability to engage positively with customers
• Understanding of multiple business domains and various file and data formats used across domains
• Should have experience creating business and functional requirement specifications
• Should have experience working with multiple teams & stakeholders to deliver project requirements
• Should be able to work in the EU/UK time
• Excellent interpersonal skills and need to coordinate directly with customer's customer, i.e. the end user
• Good convincing skills, ability to get the point across without aggravating the opposite party
• Expertise on multiple business domains and data file formats will be a plus

Good to Have :

• Knowledge in EDI - knowledge of X12 standards and working with file formats like EDI, Flat file, XML etc.

Responsibilities :

• Ability to handle/work on multiple discrete projects concurrently
• Requirements analysis and Elicitation - to gather requirements from business over phone and email
• Understanding the as-is and to-be states of the business need and thereby the system needs
• Managing scope - working with stakeholders to avoid scope creep and ensuring all agreed scope is delivered
• Estimation - providing BA and coordinating Developer estimates. Responsible for project estimation
• Tracking and reporting of project metrics for the projects undertaken
• Creating a requirements matrix and business process flow for development
• Working with developers to help understand the required enhancement/development, provide clarifications
• Creating test scenarios based on the requirement and change transition
• Test execution - Integration, System, Regression testing
• Documentation - Creating supporting documentation for projects, involve in training and documentation at engagement level
• Working effectively with multiple (support) teams to see project through to production and turnover to support.
