Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a seasoned Oracle Projects Functional Consultant to lead and support multi-project implementations. You will work across projects, handle configurations, and coordinate with business users across functions.

The role demands expert knowledge of Project Costing, Billing, and Management, plus strong communication in English and Korean. You will engage in workshops, CRP, SIT/UAT, and Go-Live activities within MFG industry contexts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Oracle Applications – Project Accounting, including Project Costing and Project Billing.
• Handled 2–3 implementations/upgrades/rollouts in version 12.1.3 & above.
• Configuring changes to meet requirements with MFG industry integrations.
• Excellent communication with business users in English and Korean.

Responsibilities

• Work as an individual contributor across implementation and support projects.
• Develop end-to-end solutions for implementations.
• Understand global solutions and site-specific delta requirements.
• Configure modules and perform unit/integration testing.
• Train core teams and execute CRP & UAT.
• Interact with users and managers for issue resolution.
• Create functional design documents and adhere to timelines.
• Maintain standards and procedures.
• Build internal capability through detailed training and documentation.

JD for Oracle Projects Functional Consulting

• Should have 8+ years of experience in Oracle Application in Project Accounting modules that include Project Costing and Project Billing Modules
• Should Handled at least 2 to 3 Implementation/Upgrade/Roll out projects in version 12.1.3 & above.
• Should have knowledge in configuring/making changes to the configurations as per the requirement with MFG industries integrations
• Should have good communication skills to interact with business users .
• MUST have proficient in English & Korean language
• MUST have expertise in business facing roles, conducting workshops /CRP/SIT/UAT/Go Live
• Should have knowledge in configuring/making changes to the configurations as per the requirement
• Should have worked on preparation of configuration documents, Functional design documents for CEMLI components Good to have knowledge in SQL.

Must have skills:

• Knowledge of Oracle Projects Accounting Modules i.e. below
• Oracle Project Costing
• Oracle Project Billing
• Oracle Project Management.
• Good to have Project Manufacturing knowledge and Functionalities
• Good to have knowledge in MFG Industry with Projects.
• Well versed with configurations and good understanding of Auto-Accounting concepts in Projects & Subledger accounting .
• Basic knowledge for writing/executing queries using Sql developer
• Ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments.
• Should have worked across Implementation/Upgrade projects forProject Accounting.
• Good understanding of all the oracle AIM documentations.
• Support experience and testing experience is good to have & Experience with Agile environment is a plus
