Job summary

EbizON is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Shopify to lead end-to-end Shopify e-commerce projects from initiation to completion in India. The role requires strong PM skills and a solid understanding of Shopify development, e-commerce operations, and cross-functional coordination.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of project management experience in Shopify/e-commerce, with familiarity in Liquid, apps, APIs, and third-party integrations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in Shopify/e-commerce projects.
• Strong understanding of Shopify and Shopify Plus ecosystems.
• Experience with Shopify themes, Liquid, apps, APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience delivering website development and e-commerce projects.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum PM methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Shopify projects, including store development, redesigns, migrations and enhancements.
• Define scope, timelines, deliverables, milestones and resource needs.
• Coordinate with Shopify developers, designers, QA, content, SEO and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, trackers, timelines and status reports.
• Provide regular updates to clients/stakeholders on requirements and progress.
• Manage priorities, risks, issues and change requests.
• Ensure delivery within timelines, scope and budget.
• Coordinate Shopify theme development and customization.
• Oversee integration of Shopify apps, payments, APIs and third-party tools.
• Collaborate with technical team on Liquid, APIs and custom functionality.
• Ensure QA, UAT, bug resolution and successful deployment.
• Monitor team performance and timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct regular project meetings and maintain documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Shopify projects, including new store development, redesigns, migrations, and feature enhancements
• Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements
• Coordinate with Shopify developers, designers, QA, content, SEO, and other stakeholders
• Prepare and maintain project plans, task trackers, timelines, and status reports
• Communicate with clients/stakeholders to understand requirements and provide regular project updates
• Manage project priorities, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, and budget
• Coordinate Shopify theme development and customization
• Oversee integration of Shopify apps, payment gateways, third-party tools, APIs, and other e-commerce solutions
• Work closely with the technical team on Shopify Liquid, APIs, integrations, and custom functionality
• Ensure proper QA, UAT, bug resolution, and successful project deployment
• Monitor team performance and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
• Conduct regular project meetings and maintain clear documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve project processes and delivery efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7 + years of experience in project management, preferably in Shopify / e-commerce projects
• Strong understanding of Shopify and Shopify Plus ecosystems
• Good understanding of Shopify themes, Liquid, apps, APIs, and third-party integrations
• Experience managing website development and e-commerce projects
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum project management methodologies
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, or similar
