The Eastern Railway Recruitment Cell has announced a recruitment drive for Apprentices.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official RRC ER website: http://rrcer.org. The application period opens on September 24, 2024, and closes on October 23, 2024.

Number of Positions

• Total: 3,115 positions
• Kanchrapara Workshop: 187 posts
• Asansol Division: 412 posts
• Jamalpur Workshop: 667 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed the 10th grade (or equivalent under the 10+2 system) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Additionally, a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT is required.

Age Limit

Applicants must be at least 15 years old and not older than 24 years as of the application cutoff date.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on merit, with a merit list created for eligible candidates based on their online application details. The merit list will consider both matriculation marks (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI exam scores, with equal weightage given to each.
