Workplace Options is seeking an EAP Counsellor to provide compassionate, confidential support to individuals worldwide via phone, video, chat and email from our Bangalore location.

You will engage clients with empathy, assess needs, manage risk, and develop concise treatment plans while maintaining thorough documentation and adhering to privacy standards. Shifts include overnight and weekend hours, with robust training and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or psychology.
• Minimum 2 years direct client-contact providing counseling or mental health services.
• Experience providing assessments and/or using clinical assessment tools.
• Training in mindfulness or solution-focused counseling an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide single session telephonic counselling, in-the-moment support and crisis telephonic management in a supportive, ethical and professional manner while maintaining client-confidentiality.
• Assess clients thoroughly to ensure appropriateness for short-term counselling.
• Assess and manage high risk calls and working closely with individuals at risk.
• Appropriately refer clients to external resources or within WPO as part of our holistic approach.
• Collaboratively develop clear and concise treatment plans for clients.
• Maintain clear clinical and task-oriented documentation in case management system.
• Any additional tasks pertinent to the position, as deemed appropriate by management.

Current Opportunity: EAP Counsellor.

Location: Bangalore

Shift hours: Overnight and Weekend shifts

Salary: 6 Lacs per annum

Years of experience: 1-3 Yrs.

Languages required: English.

What you will do:

Our EAP Counsellors engage with participants over the phone, video, chat & email all while demonstrating what we call: The Power of a Good Conversation - creating a connection with the client to ensure they feel heard, supported, and cared for.
