Job summary

Workplace Options in Bengaluru is seeking an EAP Counsellor to support participants by phone, video, chat, and email. You will provide confidential short-term counseling and crisis support with empathy, ethics, and professional care.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Counseling or Psychology, 2+ years of client-facing experience, and familiarity with mindfulness or solution-focused approaches. The role offers overnight/weekend shifts with a salary of 6 LPA and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or psychology.
• Minimum 2 years direct client-contact providing counseling or mental health services.
• Experience providing assessments and/or using clinical assessment tools.
• Training in mindfulness or solution-focused counseling an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide single session telephonic counselling, in-the-moment support and crisis telephonic management in a supportive, ethical and professional manner while maintaining client-confidentiality.
• Assess clients thoroughly to ensure appropriateness for short-term counselling.
• Assess and manage high risk calls and working closely with individuals at risk.
• Appropriately refer clients to external resources or within WPO as part of our holistic approach.
• Collaboratively develop clear and concise treatment plans for clients.
• Maintain clear clinical and task-oriented documentation in case management system.
• Any additional tasks pertinent to the position, as deemed appropriate by management.

Location: Bangalore

Shift hours: Overnight and Weekend shifts

Salary: 6 Lacs per annum

Years of experience: 1-3 Yrs.

What you will do:

Our EAP Counsellors engage with participants over the phone, video, chat & email all while demonstrating what we call: The Power of a Good Conversation - creating a connection with the client to ensure they feel heard, supported, and cared for.
