The Role

Employment Status: Fixed Term Employment (Until June 2026)

The Regional Coordinator will report to the Manager, Health and Nutrition, Rajasthan and will work closely with various team members from the state team. The RC will represent EAII's IFA Supplementation and NDD programs at regional/district levels and provide technical support to strengthen program implementation under the operational and financial guidelines. The RC will collaborate with officials from Health, Education, Women and Child Development departments, and other stakeholders to optimize platform utilization and interdepartmental coordination.

Responsibilities
Advocacy
  • Maintain good relationships with regional/district/block officials, guided and approved by the state office.
  • Represent Evidence Action in regional review meetings, district coordination meetings, and other district/block level meetings related to IFA, NDD, and other programs.
  • Ensure regular convening of review and coordination meetings, focusing on IFA and NDD program decisions.
  • Advocate for program expansion to private and out-of-school children at district and block levels.
  • Work with district health departments to include budgets and IEC strategies in the annual Program Implementation Plan (PIP) under the National Health Mission.
  • Liaise with development partners and stakeholders as guided by the state team.
  • Support the health department with other school health programs as directed.
Project Implementation
  • Coordinate with state team and tele-calling unit for regional/district requirements.
  • Travel within districts and blocks (~15 days/month) for program activities.
  • Assist in drug need assessment, procurement, and supply chain monitoring.
  • Facilitate training and capacity building on IFA and NDD programs at district and block levels.
  • Identify and execute IEC activities, integrating program messages.
  • Support monitoring, data collection, and reporting, including field visits and feedback sharing.
  • Assist in preparing district-specific action plans and document progress and success stories.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the State Program Manager.
Requirements
Essential
  • Graduate with at least 5 years' experience in development, preferably in education, maternal/child health, nutrition, or adolescent programs, with government or NGOs.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in program implementation at district, block, and community levels.
  • Experience collaborating with government officials across departments.
  • Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
  • Valid driving license and own vehicle (2/4 Wheeler); organization does not provide a vehicle.
  • Computer proficiency, especially MS Office.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of local dialect.
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Experience working with district/block government officials.
  • Experience in capacity building and report preparation.
  • Passion for creating change.

Position Location
