Job description

Deputy Manager Fund Accountant

The role is part of the RESIG Team based in Bengaluru/Mumbai, focusing on fund accounting within private equity funds.

Responsibilities

• Operations (75%): Accountability for work product of the team. Act as primary reviewer and quality assurance of deliverables produced by your team. Ensure that all client deliverables are on time and meet the EisnerAmper quality standard. Calculation, booking and reviewing of deal-wise various fees like Management, Incentive/carry, etc. Preparation and review of Financial Statement and Investor Reports including capital calls, distribution schedules, notices, etc.
• Client/CRM Satisfaction (10%): Effective engagement with assigned clients/CRMs to build rapport and proactively manage expectations through calls/scheduled meetings. Maintain continuous focus and improvement in service quality for all assigned deliverables. Maintain required transparency and communication with client/CRMs. Strive to attain 100% client reference and recommendation.
• People Management & Retention (5%): Mentor and foster leadership skills and best practices among team members. Manage a team of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties, support mechanisms for achievement including SMART goal settings. Encourage and facilitate team communication and rapport building within/across offices. Build employee motivation and engagement through innovative programs. Manage people’s career aspirations and keep them in line with organization’s goals.

Basic Qualifications

• MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA or equivalent qualification
• 6-8 years of work experience in Fund Accounting, preferably with hands‑on experience in Private Equity Funds
• In‑depth domain and knowledge of financial markets

Preferred/Desired Qualifications

• Experience in Yardi application
• Proficiency in MS Excel
