Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru seeks a skilled consultant to join its consulting team. The role involves problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution design and deployment across client projects.

You will explore alternatives, build proofs of concept, and create requirement specifications from business needs. You will define to-be processes and functional designs, and support configuring solutions while diagnosing issues and shortlisting viable options.

Qualifications

• Educational background often includes MBA/MCA/MSc/MTech/BE/BTech.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and F&O is preferred.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional designs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Actively aid the consulting team in problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment.
• Explore alternatives to recommended solutions based on literature surveys and public domain information, and build POCs.
• Create requirement specifications from business needs and define to-be processes and detailed functional designs.
• Support configuring solution requirements on products; diagnose root causes and shortlist alternatives.
• Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives to provide high-quality value-added solutions to customers.

Roles & Responsibilities

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment
• You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs
• You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.
• You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives
• You will also contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
