Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain Business Central solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AL development, extensions, integrations, and data management, combined with a deep understanding of business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Sales. You will work closely with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient Business Central solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain custom Business Central extensions and applications using AL programming.

Customize and configure Business Central modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Sales, to meet business requirements.

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and workflows using standard and custom tools.

Integrate Business Central with third-party applications, APIs, and web services.

Manage data migration, ETL processes, and data quality within Business Central.

Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, integration, and production environments.

Maintain version control, ALM practices, and deployment pipelines using tools like Git and Azure DevOps.

Ensure best practices for coding, security, and performance optimization in all solutions.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and support team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer.

Strong proficiency in AL programming, Business Central extensions, and customization.

Experience with Business Central configuration, workflows, reports, and dashboards.

Knowledge of integrations with APIs, web services, and third-party applications.

Strong understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Sales modules.

Experience with data migration, ETL, and data management.

Familiarity with Power BI, version control (Git, Azure DevOps), and ALM practices.

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred / Bonus Skills:

Microsoft Business Central certifications (MB-800, MB-300, MB-500).

Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).

Exposure to Azure cloud services and integrations.

Experience with automated deployment and testing frameworks for Business Central.
