The role spans Greenfield project execution and ongoing plant operations, focusing on civil construction, foundations, roads, drainage, and utility networks. Qualifications

• 5+ years in Civil Engineering, industrial building projects and infrastructure development, with exposure to Greenfield automotive manufacturing projects.

• Supervise construction of foundations, pits, and related infrastructure to ensure readiness for equipment installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams and contractors to ensure timely execution, progress monitoring, and closure of project activities.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety during project execution.

Purpose of the role:

To support planning, execution, commissioning and maintenance of civil infrastructure, buildings and utility-related structures for TCF Shop during Greenfield project implementation and plant operations.

Roles and responsibilities:

Greenfield Project Phase

• Execute and monitor civil construction activities for TCF Shop, including industrial buildings, assembly line foundations, conveyor pits, roads, drainage systems, underground utility networks and associated infrastructure as per project schedules, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Supervise construction of assembly line foundations, conveyor pits, logistics handling areas, utility corridors, industrial flooring and supporting infrastructure to ensure readiness for equipment installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering and contractor teams for timely execution, progress monitoring and closure of project activities.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, construction quality standards, statutory regulations and safety requirements during project execution.

Operations & Facility Management Phase

• Support upkeep and maintenance of TCF Shop buildings, assembly line foundations, utility corridors, logistics areas, industrial floors, roads and drainage systems to ensure safe and reliable manufacturing operations.
• Execute preventive maintenance, civil repair works, floor rehabilitation, facility modifications and infrastructure improvement activities to support changing production requirements and operational efficiency.
• Monitor contractor performance, verify work completion and ensure adherence to safety, quality and delivery requirements for maintenance and project activities.
• Maintain infrastructure records, prepare project and maintenance MIS, support budget control activities and assist in future capacity expansion, layout modifications and facility enhancement projects.

Experience

5+ years in Civil Engineering, industrial building projects, infrastructure development with exposure to Greenfield automotive manufacturing projects. Experience in TCF Shop facilities preferred.
