Job summary

NTT Data FA Insurance Systems India Pvt ltd in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Data Warehouse Architect to translate business requirements into scalable data structures and models. You will provide architecture options and guidance to a core data warehouse team, aligning with enterprise standards.

You will evolve models, design data marts, tune SQL, and collaborate across cross-functional teams including ETL and BI specialists to deliver reliable, high-performance reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in supporting database environments including a minimum of 3-5 years supporting enterprise data warehouse efforts.
• Experience with data warehouse technologies and/or back-end reporting systems
• Experience designing and developing data marts and/or data cube solutions.
• Knowledge of data, master data and metadata related standards, processes and technology
• Experience defining, designing and implementing logical and physical data models
• Experience in SQL and query tuning to meet strict performance SLAs
• Experience designing and implementing reporting data sources and reports
• Experience working cross functionally to deliver resolutions of technical, procedural, and operational issues
• Hands-on expertise working with at least one enterprise data warehouse tool
• Strong communication skills, team spirit essential.
• Ability to work effectively with a cross cultural team of varied skillsets and experience levels across countries.
• Ability to come out with LDM to meet the business requirements and then translate to PDM based on tools like Erwin / DB Designer / etc.
• Experience of having worked with various tools:
• ETL -BODI / OWB / Informatica / Pentaho
• BI – Business Objects / Cognos / Jasper
• Experience of having implemented different CDC mechanisms on various platforms like AS400-DB2 / Oracle
• Added Advantage –
• Experience in Big-Data and its application to Data Warehousing preferred
• Experience in Insurance DW projects
