Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead analytics-focused data initiatives. You will design and govern data models, architect data pipelines for ingestion and consumption in data lakes, and work across Snowflake/Redshift/BiqQuery/Synapse-based environments.

Strong SQL, ETL, and governance skills are essential, with a track record of influencing executives through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience and played the role of data architect at least 3 years on Data Warehouse and Analytics solutions.
• 3+ years of experience with any of the cloud (AWS, Azure and GCP) and strong knowledge of Ingestion and consumption process in Data Lake.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud based EDW platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BiqQuery, Synapse etc.)
• 3+ years of building and launching new data models that provide intuitive analytics for the analysts and customers
• Strong experience working with and analyzing large datasets within the relevant domains of enterprise data
• Strong experience in Data Warehouse ETL design and development, methodologies, tools, processes and best practices
• Good knowledge of RDBMS topics, ability to write complex SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX scripts etc.
• Understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting aspects
• Communication and presentation experience with proven track record of using insights to influence executives and colleagues
• Awareness or expertise in data security and data access controls and design aspects
• Awareness or expertise in DevOps tools like GitHub, Cloud DevOps, etc.
• Awareness or expertise in monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting and integrating new features
• Experience with development frameworks (SCRUM/Agile)
• Recommend solutions to improve cloud and existing Datawarehouse solutions
