Job summary

Weekday (YC W21) is partnering with an IT services client to hire a Mid-Senior DVA Modeler with strong automotive domain expertise. The role focuses on creating and refining DVA models for body, exterior, and interior components, aligning with design requirements and project standards.

You will work closely with design and engineering teams, ensuring models meet quality and dimensional standards while supporting iterations and optimization based on project needs.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in DVA modeling or automotive design.
• Proficient with VisVSA; VisVSA is mandatory.
• Expertise in automotive body, exterior, or interior modeling.
• Ability to interpret design requirements and translate them into accurate DVA models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality DVA models for automotive body, exterior, and interior components.
• Create and modify models based on design requirements, engineering specifications, and project guidelines.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure DVA models meet required quality and dimensional standards.
• Analyze design feasibility and identify potential issues during the modeling process.
• Support design iterations, modifications, and optimization based on project requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of modeling deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve modeling and design-related challenges.

VisVSA experience is mandatory for this role.
