Job summary

Aruba, an HPE Company, is seeking a Hybrid Availability and Escalation Lead to monitor critical calls and drive end-to-end resolution of incidents. You will liaise with leadership and internal teams to ensure timely updates and effective containment.

The role emphasizes RCA/PIR practices, stakeholder communication, and a strong foundation in networking and Wi‑Fi concepts. A flexible two-days-per-week office presence is expected in our hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of networking, routing, switching and Wi‑Fi concepts.
• Experience documenting escalation root causes and preventive measures.
• Proven ability to communicate incident resolutions to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain availability and monitor critical calls and emails during shifts.
• Own escalations end-to-end, set severity, assess impact and SLA commitments.
• Engage cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, TAC) to resolve issues.
• Provide clear status updates to leadership and manage expectations.

What You’ll Do

Availability

• Maintain cell phone accessibility during assigned shifts to receive critical calls from the leadership team and actively monitor incoming emails.

Escalation Ownership & Governance

• Monitor escalated cases from end-to-end upon receipt.


• Immediately establish severity levels, assess business impact, and identify SLA commitments.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Engage internal stakeholders, including ERT/TAC, Engineering, Supply Chain, and PLM.


• Escalate to management (Theatre leaders, TAC management) when encountering resource allocation bottlenecks or communication barriers with customers or sales teams.

Executive Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Deliver clear, concise, and factual status updates to the leadership team.


• Manage stakeholder expectations regarding timelines, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.


• Serve as the trusted, primary interface between external customers and internal executives.

What You Need To Bring

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.

Knowledge And Skills

• Proficiency in conducting Post Incident Reviews (PIR), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and driving issues to closure.


• Ability to comprehensively document escalation root causes and preventative measures implemented.


• Strong skills in communicating incident resolutions and escalation closures to all relevant stakeholders.


• Strong foundational knowledge of networking protocols, switching principles, and Wi‑Fi concepts.


• Demonstrated understanding of HPE Networking product portfolios, including Aruba, EdgeConnect, and Juniper (preferred).

Additional Certifications

• Valid ITIL or PMP certification (optional).
