Job summary

Grazitti Interactive is seeking a Senior Drupal Developer to join our Digital Engineering team in India. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Drupal websites and applications, crafting custom modules, themes, plugins, and integrations.

You will work with Drupal architecture, APIs, authentication systems, and CI/CD pipelines, while mentoring junior and mid-level developers and collaborating with PMs, designers, QA, and DevOps to deliver enterprise-grade web solutions.

Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Drupal Developer to join our Digital Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in Drupal development, custom module development, integrations, performance optimization, and delivering scalable web solutions. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, business stakeholders, designers, QA engineers, and other developers to build and enhance enterprise-grade Drupal applications. You will also contribute to technical decision-making, code reviews, troubleshooting, and mentoring junior and mid-level developers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing Drupal websites and applications.
• Develop custom Drupal modules, themes, plugins, services, and integrations based on project requirements.
• Work extensively with Drupal architecture, APIs, configuration management, entities, views, forms, workflows, and custom modules.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, third-party APIs, SSO, authentication systems, and external platforms.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to Drupal architecture and solution design.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Drupal coding standards, security practices, and development best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, performance, and production issues.
• Optimize Drupal applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Work with databases and write optimized queries when required.
• Manage Drupal upgrades, module updates, patches, configuration changes, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure quality, stability, and maintainability of delivered solutions.
• Work with DevOps teams on Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, environments, and deployments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level Drupal developers.
• Stay current with Drupal releases, ecosystem changes, security updates, and modern web development practices.
• Contribute to improving development processes, reusable components, coding standards, and technical documentation.
