Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drupal developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing Drupal-based web applications, including migrations, custom module development, and API integrations. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, QA teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain web applications using Drupal versions 7 through 11.
• Design and implement custom Drupal modules, themes, and RESTful APIs.
• Integrate third-party APIs, including Mollie, Stripe, PayPal, and CiviCRM.
• Build microsites and configure multi-site environments using subdomain structures.
• Migrate legacy systems and troubleshoot Drupal upgrades from Drupal 7 to 9/10.
• Optimize backend performance, implement caching strategies, and enhance load times.
• Implement CI/CD workflows using tools like Git, Docker, and Composer.
• Maintain custom admin dashboards with role-based access controls.
• Develop and maintain reusable, scalable code and follow Drupal coding standards.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers for seamless execution.
• Track development progress and report tasks using Jira or similar project management tools.
• Ensure STQC and GIGW 3.0 compliance for government or accessibility-focused projects.
• Develop e-commerce functionalities using Drupal Commerce.
• Lead initiatives on performance optimization, code reviews, and team training sessions.
• Adhere to web security best practices and contribute to high-availability architecture planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience with Drupal development.
• Experience with Git, Docker, Composer, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with Drupal site building, Views, Blocks, and configuration management.
• Solid understanding of REST architecture and third-party API integration.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Drupal 10/11.
• Exposure to cloud deployment platforms (e.g., AWS, Pantheon, Acquia).
• Knowledge of WCAG and GIGW 3.0 accessibility standards.
• Understanding of SEO, analytics integration, and multilingual support in Drupal.
• Contribution to the Drupal community (patches, modules, forums) is a plus.
