Job summary

Brik Oven is seeking a field-based Driver to ensure safe, timely transport of food materials and related items between central kitchens, outlets, warehouses, vendors, and other locations. You will drive to scheduled routes, handle loading/unloading, and maintain delivery records.

Requires 2–3 years of driving experience, a valid licence, and good knowledge of Bangalore routes. Flexibility for early/late shifts and weekend work may be needed, with a focus on safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

  • Valid driving licence for the assigned vehicle category.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably in logistics, food service, FMCG or similar.
  • Good knowledge of Bangalore routes and surrounding areas.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive company vehicles as per assigned routes and schedules.
  • Transport food materials, raw materials, packaging materials, equipment and other items between locations.
  • Ensure timely delivery and collection of materials from outlets, warehouses, vendors and other locations.
  • Check the quantity and condition of materials before loading and after delivery.
  • Maintain proper delivery documents, invoices, challans and acknowledgement records.
  • Obtain signatures or confirmation for all deliveries and collections.
  • Follow assigned routes and inform the Logistics Manager about delays or route issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and basic condition of the assigned vehicle.
  • Conduct basic vehicle checks including fuel, tyres, lights and brakes.
  • Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, damages or maintenance requirements immediately.
  • Follow traffic rules, company safety guidelines and applicable legal requirements.
  • Ensure food and materials are handled carefully to avoid damage, contamination or loss.
  • Maintain accurate records of fuel usage, kilometres travelled and vehicle-related expenses.
  • Support loading and unloading activities whenever required.
  • Coordinate with outlet, warehouse, kitchen and Logistics teams for smooth operations.
  • Carry out any other duties as and when directed by the Management.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Valid driving licence for the assigned vehicle category. Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably in logistics, food service, FMCG or a similar industry. Good knowledge of Bangalore routes and surrounding areas. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
