C.V. Raman Global University (CGU), Odisha started in 1997 as a degree-level engineering college,

named as C.V. Raman College of Engineering (CVRCE). With 25 Centres of Excellence set up in

Where You Come In

We are seeking a responsible and reliable LMV Driver to join our university’s transport team. The

role involves transporting staff, guests, and materials safely, maintaining discipline, and ensuring

vehicles are always in good condition.

Salary Details: Best commensurate with experience and interview performance

Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, students, and University guests as assigned.
• Drive only on authorized routes and follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Report to work on time and always remain fit for duty.
• Ensure that the vehicle is in good working condition by conducting daily pre-trip inspections
• (brakes, tires, lights, etc.) and reporting issues to the Transport Manager.
• Keep the vehicle clean inside and outside; wash and service it regularly.
• Maintain proper logs for fuel usage, trips, and mileage.
• Notify the Transport Manager immediately in case of delays, accidents, or breakdowns.
• Ensure that all passengers wear seat belts and maintain discipline during travel.
• Uphold the University’s image by always maintaining professional and courteous behavior.
• Drive for official errands, guest visits, and University-related tasks.
• Comply with security checks while entering or exiting University premises.
• Perform overtime work if required by the University without additional compensation.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Transport Manager.
