PeopleStrong is seeking a draftsman with extensive experience in hydroelectric power projects and tunneling. The ideal candidate will prepare detailed CAD drawings for structures such as dams, powerhouses, water tunnels, caverns, shafts, and penstocks, along with road and excavation drawings.

The role requires accuracy and the ability to convert project concepts into precise CAD designs, coordinating with engineers and geotechnical teams to ensure timely, compliant deliverables.

Qualifications

• Autocad drafting proficiency demonstrated in Hydropower projects.
• ITI Draughtsman (Civil) certification or equivalent required.
• Civil 3D knowledge is a must.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed drawings of structures for Hydropower projects (dam, powerhouse, tunnels, caverns, shafts, pensoks, adits, portals).
• Create road and excavation drawings and reinforcement details as per design engineers’ instructions.
• Maintain organized CAD files and project documentation for quick access and tracking.
• Coordinate with civil & structural engineers as well as geological & geotechnical teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of detail drawings and construction sequences per standards.

Job Description

Responsibilities:Preparation of detail drawings of Structures related to Hydropower Projects, viz., Dam, Powerhouse, Water tunnels, Caverns, Shafts, Penstocks, Adits, Portals, etc.Preparation of Road & Excavation Drawings. Preparation of concrete Outline & reinforcement detail drawings as per instructions by Design Engineer.To accurately convert project requirements and concepts into CAD designs, work collaboratively with engineers and other team members.Keep CAD files and documentation organized and current for quick access and project tracking.Timely preparation of Detail construction reference and construction sequence drawings as per preset standards.Coordinate with:Civil & Structural engineersGeological & Geotechnical teamsDesired Profile:Relevant experience in Hydro Power Projects & Tunneling projects.Excellent accuracy and attention to detail during CAD drafting.Candidate shall have exposure to at least 2 other hydel projects.Civil 3D knowledge is a must.Minimum 10 years of relevant drafting experienceAt least 5–7 years in hydropower or tunnel/underground projectsExperience working on large infrastructure or EPC projects
