Job summary

Zigsaw is seeking a skilled Draftsman with 1-3 years of experience in interior design drafting to prepare detailed technical drawings and execution drawings according to design specs and site requirements. The role involves creating 2D drawings, elevations, and layouts, and coordinating with designers, architects, and site teams.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, with exposure to SketchUp or Revit preferred, and possess strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in drafting, interior design, architecture, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in interior design drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; SketchUp and Revit are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and technical documentation for interior projects.
• Develop working drawings including electrical layouts, elevations, and sections.
• Coordinate with interior designers, architects, and site execution teams.
• Revise drawings based on client feedback and project changes.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and execution standards.
• Conduct site measurements when required.
• Maintain organized project documentation and drawing records.
• Assist in preparing BOQs and material details if required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop working drawings including:

• Elevations and sectional drawings
• Coordinate with interior designers, architects, and site execution teams.
• Revise drawings based on client feedback and project changes.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and execution standards.
• Conduct site measurements when required.
• Maintain organized project documentation and drawing records.
• Assist in preparing BOQs and material details if required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Drafting, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in interior design drafting.
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD (Mandatory)
• SketchUp / Revit (Preferred)
• MS Office
• Good understanding of interior fit-out detailing and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of materials, furniture detailing, and site execution standards.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working on residential and commercial interior projects.
• Ability to understand design concepts and convert them into technical drawings.
