Job summary

JRM Construction in Chennai is seeking a skilled Draftsman to prepare accurate architectural and construction drawings based on project requirements. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and site teams to develop, modify, and maintain project drawings.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant Diploma/ITI in Architecture or Civil, have 0–5 years of drafting experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and the ability to read architectural and civil drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Drafting.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with SketchUp or Revit is a plus.
• Good reading of architectural and civil drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural and construction drawings using CAD software.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
• Convert design concepts and sketches into technical drawings.
• Modify drawings based on project requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with architects and site engineers.
• Prepare working drawings required for construction execution.
• Maintain and organize project drawing files.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and follow project specifications.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings when required.
• Incorporate site-related drawing changes and revisions.
