Job summary

Kyndryl Inc. is seeking a DR Consultant to design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions. You will document DR processes, map application dependencies, and collaborate with storage, database, and network teams to ensure robust recovery capabilities.

You will work on DR automation platforms and scripting to optimize recovery times for on-premises, cloud or hybrid environments, contributing to enterprise IT resilience.

Qualifications

• Understanding of global disaster recovery and business continuity standards and processes.
• Ability to document disaster recovery process steps at the appropriate level of detail and innovate to optimize recovery time and recovery point objectives.
• Understanding of enterprise IT incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix XenApp).
• Ability to develop and maintain shell / PowerShell / Python / TCL / Bicep / Ansible Playbooks or similar scripts.

Responsibilities

• Develop DR exercise plans that meet objectives in collaboration with application and infrastructure teams.
• Document DR processes and map application dependencies across enterprise environments.
• Work with storage, database, and network teams to ensure data protection and recovery capabilities.
• Implement DR automation on platforms like KRO/KIRS/Ansible or similar tools.
• Assist with on-premises, cloud, and hybrid DR strategies and testing.
