Job summary

Kyndryl Inc. is seeking a System Administrator to manage IBM i (iSeries) HA/DR environments across multiple Indian locations. You will handle MIMIX, journaling, replication, and recovery processes, while ensuring production systems stay resilient and compliant. Collaborate with application and DBA teams to support deployments and upgrades.

The role involves monitoring, automation, and documentation with a strong emphasis on disaster recovery and system reliability in a large enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of IBM i (iSeries) administration experience with 2–4 years supporting HA/DR environments.
• Strong knowledge of MIMIX, journal management, replication, backup and recovery processes.
• Experience with IBM i system administration, CL commands, scripting, and troubleshooting production environments.
• Understanding of HA/DR concepts, networking, storage, and system resilience.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware ESX, and cloud environments, including on-prem-to-cloud migrations.
