Job summary

BDO India seeks an experienced backend developer to strengthen our .NET and Azure-based platform. You will design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and SaaS services, collaborating with frontend and design teams.

You should have 4-5+ years in software development, strong C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular familiarity, and a solid grasp of architecture patterns to build scalable systems. You will also contribute to testing, performance tuning, and cross-team collaboration to deliver robust software.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of professional software development experience focusing on backend development.
• Strong experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Proficient in RESTful APIs and Azure services (Functions, SQL DB, App Service).
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns for scalable systems.
• Good knowledge of Angular and frontend basics (JavaScript/HTML/CSS).
• Experience in SaaS environments and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using .NET and Azure.
• Design RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend components.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and HTML coders for seamless integration.
• Coordinate between frontend, backend, and data services to ensure performance.

Role & Responsibilities:

• 4 - 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend development using .NET and Azure services.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP*.*NET Core, RESTful APIs, Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure App Service, etc.).
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns for building scalable and maintainable systems.
• Good Knowledge of Angular
• Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML coder, and yourself
• Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
• Communicating with external web services
• Experience working in SaaS companies
• Professional, precise communication skills
• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
