Job summary

BDO India is seeking an experienced backend developer with 4-5+ years in .NET and Azure to build scalable SaaS solutions. You will work on RESTful APIs, Azure Functions, and App Service while collaborating with frontend and design teams to deliver polished user experiences.

You will write clean, tested code and contribute to architecture decisions, ensuring high performance for mobile and desktop clients. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 - 5+ years of professional software development experience focusing on backend with .NET and Azure.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs and Azure services.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Angular and frontend basics (JS/HTML/CSS).
• Experience delivering scalable, high-performance SaaS solutions.
• Professional, precise communication and collaboration skills.
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented code; multi-threading when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using .NET and Azure; ensure performance and reliability.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with Azure Functions, SQL Database, and App Service.
• Collaborate with graphic designer and HTML coder to implement frontend features.
• Work with backend developers to design and consume RESTful APIs.
• Communicate with external web services and maintain testable modules.
• Create reusable components and ensure proper documentation.
• Validate user actions on client side and provide responsive feedback.
• Apply architectural principles and design patterns for scalable systems.

Role & responsibilities

• 4 - 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend development using .NET and Azure services.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP*.*NET Core, RESTful APIs, Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure App Service, etc.).
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns for building scalable and maintainable systems.
• Good Knowledge of Angular
• Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML coder, and yourself
• Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
• Communicating with external web services
• Experience working in SaaS companies

• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
