Job summary

Virtusa Hyderabad is seeking a senior full-stack engineer with 6+ years of industry experience to own end-to-end development of REST APIs and microservices. You will work with .NET Core/.NET 6/8, React/NextJs, AWS, and SQL databases in a distributed, agile environment. Strong knowledge of CI/CD and design patterns is expected.

Excellent communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams are essential for this role in a fast-paced tech landscape.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industry experience as a full-stack engineer (5 years considered but must be strong).
• Experience in building REST APIs and Microservices with event-driven designs.
• Proficiency in .NET Core/.NET 6/.NET 8 and React/NextJs or Angular.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (MSSQL/Oracle/Postgres) and cloud (AWS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Python is a plus.

Dot net FSD Jd:-Key skills- Dot net , Next js/React Js and AWS (Mandatory AWS)

Experience

6+ years of industry experience as a full-stack engineer (5 years will be considered but must be strong)

Development Methodologies

Experience in building REST APIs and Microservices, understanding Event driven communication, Resilient design and design patterns of microservices for distributed systems is mandatory, utilizing either

.NET Core/.Net 6/.Net 8

Streaming platforms like Kafka are good to have as well.

Frontend Technologies

HTML5, CSS and TypeScript. Strong expertise in one of the JS frameworkseither React/NextJs or Angular—is mandatory, with a preference for React/NextJs experience.

Programming Languages

Expert in either Java or C# with sound knowledge of OOPS concepts and design patterns. Expertise in Python is desirable.

Monitoring Tools

Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana or Prometheus is desirable.

CI/CD

Any Git tool for source control. Build tools like TeamCity or Jenkins or GitHub Action and experience with deployment tooling like Octopus or similar.

Databases

Either of the relational databases like MSSQL / Oracle/ Postgres.

Cloud

Any Cloud offering knowledge is a very strong asset. (Preferred AWS)

Soft skills

Excellent communication skills. Working experience with Agile methodologies.
