Orcapod Consulting Services is seeking a mid-level C# / .NET Core Software Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to drive AI-assisted development workflows. You will orchestrate AI coding agents to build, refactor, and maintain high-throughput backend services and document processing pipelines.

You will combine deep C# and .NET knowledge with prompt engineering and code auditing to deliver high-quality features faster, with solid architectural integrity.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience in backend or full-stack environments.
• Strong proficiency in modern C# and .NET Core / .NET 8+, including async/await and APIs.
• Experience with XML processing and document generation using Aspose and OpenXML.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI coding tools into daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• AI orchestration and C# development for modular logic in ASP.NET Core and XML processing.

• Code auditing to ensure SOLID principles, memory efficiency, security, and best practices.

Senior / Mid-Level AI-Assisted Software Engineer (C# / .NET Core) Experience Level: 3 5 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking a mid-level C# / .NET Core Software Engineer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on industry experience who is eager to pioneer next-generation, AI-driven development workflows. In this role, you will go beyond manual line-by-line coding by orchestrating advanced AI coding assistants (such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Devin) to build, refactor, and maintain high-throughput backend applications and complex document processing pipelines.

You will combine deep knowledge of modern C# and the .NET ecosystem with prompt engineering and rigorous code auditing to ship high-quality features faster, smarter, and with strong architectural integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Orchestration & C# Development: Craft precise, context-rich prompts and codebase contexts for AI coding agents to generate modular C#, ASP.NET Core, and XML processing logic.
• Document Processing & Automation: Architect and expand enterprise document processing features utilizing XML structures alongside Aspose.Words and OpenXML SDKs for dynamic MS Word generation and manipulation.
• Code Auditing & Quality Control: Perform line-by-line technical reviews of AI-generated C# code to ensure adherence to SOLID principles, memory efficiency, security guidelines, and .NET best practices.
• Testing & QA Strategy: Design and implement automated unit and integration testing suites (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, Moq) to continuously validate AI-assisted outputs and document processing pipelines.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Leverage AI-driven profiling and debugging workflows to diagnose performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, or complex bugs in .NET Core services.
• Feature Ownership & Delivery: Take end-to-end ownership of delivering backend APIs, microservices, and data processing engines from requirements to production deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience in backend or full-stack production environments.
• C# / .NET Expertise: Strong proficiency in modern C# and .NET Core / .NET 8+, including deep understanding of async/await, LINQ, dependency injection, memory management, and ASP.NET Core APIs.
• Document Processing & XML: Practical experience manipulating XML structures, schemas (XSD), and generating MS Word documents programmatically via Aspose and OpenXML.
• AI Coding Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience integrating AI assistants (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, ChatGPT for developers) into daily workflows to write boilerplate, explore codebases, and optimize algorithms.
• Engineering Rigor: A critical, security-first mindset when reviewing automated code outputs to spot edge cases, type-safety gaps, or AI hallucinations.
• Version Control & DevOps: Advanced Git proficiency (branching, PR workflows, conflict resolution) and exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical ability to break down complex architectural requirements into bite-sized, deterministic tasks suitable for AI agent execution.

Note:-

This is a 6-month contractual role on vendor payroll for a critical project, with an immediate joining requirement. The contract may be extended based on project needs.
