Job summary

NASS Engineering Services Private Limited in Mumbai seeks a Dock Operations Officer to oversee gate passes, records, and material and vehicle movements at the dock premises. The role requires knowledge of customs rules, strong documentation, and coordination with site teams and the head office.

Ideal candidates have SSC/HSC, Indian passport, PCC, good communication, problem-solving skills and 3–5 years of related experience. You will report to the Director and support smooth operations daily.

Qualifications

• Good communication, able to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of Customs & Port Regulations, Interpersonal Skills, Time Management.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of MBPA customs rules, regulations, and port procedures.
• Manage and process Gate Passes and other customs-related permits.
• Maintain records of company vehicles entering/exiting the dock premises.
• Maintain site-wise records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Ensure daily material movement records are maintained through Delivery Challans and submitted to Head Office on time.
• Resolve issues related to weekly passes and ensure timely renewals.
• Coordinate with site teams, transporters, and Head Office for smooth movement of materials and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• 1. Thorough knowledge of MBPA customs rules, regulations, and port procedures.
• 2. Manage and process Gate Passes (Like Naval Dock, Yellow Gate, Blue Gate etc )and other customs-related permits.
• 3. Maintain records of company vehicles such as Activa, Bolero, owner vehicles, and other vehicles regularly entering and exiting the dock premises.
• 4. Maintain site-wise records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
• 5. Ensure daily material movement records are maintained through Delivery Challans (DCs) and submit all relevant documents to the Head Office on time.
• 6. Resolve issues related to weekly passes and ensure timely renewals.
• 7. Coordinate with site teams, transporters, and Head Office for smooth movement of materials and vehicles.
• Discuss with Director Sir and Workshop In-Charge
