Keka Inc. in Gurugram is seeking a hands-on operations role focused on maximizing revenues from FDRE and hybrid renewable energy projects through hour-by-hour analysis of performance, market prices, and grid conditions.

You will determine the most profitable dispatch strategy across long-term contracts, merchant markets, DSM, and ancillary services. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience in energy trading and dispatch optimization.

Formación

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in energy dispatch, trading, or related optimization roles.
• Strong analytical and financial analysis skills; Excel proficiency; Python/SQL a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute hourly dispatch optimization strategies for FDRE assets (Solar, Wind & BESS).
• Maximize revenues through optimal participation in PPA obligations, DSM, DAM, RTM, TAM, Ancillary Services, and merchant markets.
• Analyze project performance, forecasts, market prices, and grid constraints to recommend optimal operating decisions.
• Optimize BESS charging/discharging strategy and evaluate merchant vs. contracted revenue opportunities.
• Conduct portfolio profitability analysis and identify revenue enhancement opportunities.
• Support bidding strategies for new renewable and FDRE tenders.
• Track market trends, regulations, and policy developments impacting project economics.
• Work closely with Trading, Asset Management, Forecasting, and Automation teams to improve optimization algorithms and decision-making.

Job Description

Role Overview

This is a hands-on operational role focused on maximizing revenues from FDRE and hybrid renewable energy projects through continuous monitoring and optimization of plant operations. The role requires hour-by-hour analysis of project performance, market prices, weather forecasts, grid conditions, and BESS operations to determine the most profitable dispatch strategy across long-term contracts, merchant markets, DSM, and ancillary services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute hourly dispatch optimization strategies for FDRE assets (Solar, Wind & BESS).
• Maximize revenues through optimal participation in PPA obligations, DSM, DAM, RTM, TAM, Ancillary Services, and merchant markets.
• Analyze project performance, forecasts, market prices, and grid constraints to recommend optimal operating decisions.
• Optimize BESS charging/discharging strategy and evaluate merchant vs. contracted revenue opportunities.

Preferred Profile

• Excellent analytical and financial analysis skills with proficiency in Excel; exposure to Python/SQL is an added advantage.

• Power markets, energy trading, or dispatch optimization.
