Job summary

TVS Motor Company seeks a senior ML/Analytics leader to drive engineering across data science and analytics projects in Bengaluru. You will mentor teams, promote best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to define vision, epics, and features for advanced data management solutions.

You will lead the application of NLP, text information retrieval, recommender systems, deep learning, computer vision, and voice AI in customer experience initiatives, overseeing model deployment and end-to-end

Qualifications

• Over 16+ years of Applied ML experience in NLP, IR, Recommender Systems, DL, Optimization.
• Experience in analytics for 14 years.
• Domain knowledge in Computer Vision and Voice AI is a plus.
• BE/B.Tech and MSc in Maths/CS/Statistics/OR or related STEM (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities aligned with the business vision and deliver advanced data management solutions.
• Mentor teams and promote best engineering practices across data science and analytics projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to craft vision and backlog items (epics/features).
• Provide leadership to build and manage data science, analytics, and BI teams end-to-end ML projects.
• Push state-of-the-art NLP, IR, Recommender Systems, Social Media Analytics, CV and Voice AI across CX projects.
• Leverage DL for text mining, computer vision, speech-to-text AI, and real-time ML model deployments.
• Drive data governance, data quality, and security with Data COE and Digital Defense COE.
• Define KPIs, design dashboards, and enable self-serve BI and Gen AI-based insights.

Education Qualification :

'Bachelor of Engineering-BE/B.TECH and Master’s degree inMaths, Computer Science, Statistics, Operation Research or related field with aminimum of 8 years of relevant experience or Masters in Math, Computer Science,Statistics, Operation Research or related field or a related STEM discipline(or equivalent experience).

Experience :

Over 16+ years of Applied Machinelearning experience in the fields of machine learning such as Text Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Recommender Systems, Deeplearning, Optimization etc. Good to have experience in the domain of ComputerVision & Voice AI . 14 Years in analytics field.

Job Purpose :

Responsible for leading all engineering activities, ensuring alignment with business vision, and delivering advanced data management solutions. Drives cross-functional collaboration while mentoring teams and promoting best engineering practices.' - Collaborate with stakeholders to craft vision and concept development. The PO has to ensure the short- and long-termstrategy and has to define the higher-level backlog items such as epics andfeatures, etc.

Key Responsibilities :

• The role cuts across data science and analytics projectsacross all customer journey stages of Discover, Shop, Buy and Own covering bothbusiness growth workstreams as well as Customer experience workstreams.
• Building andmanaging team of data scientists, analysts and BI developers and participationin end-to-end ML projects development and deployments that require feasibilityanalysis, design, development, validation, and application of state-of-the artdata science solutions.
• Provide leadershipto establish world-class ML lifecycle management processes.
• You will have topush the state of the art in terms of the application of NLP, Text InformationRetrieval, Recommender Systems, Social Media Analytics, Object Detection andTracking, and Voice AI solutions across customer experience projects.
• Leverage andenhance applications utilizing Deep Learning Neural networks for use casesincluding text mining, computer vision, speech, & voice to text AI.
• Foster a culture ofdata-driven decision making within the organization, promoting the use ofanalytics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• A demonstratedability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentoring team towrite research papers, patents, & participate in open source contributionetc.
• Effectively communicate complex analytical findings andinsights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders throughpresentations, reports, and visualizations.
• Recommend business improvement areas, product/featuredevelopment or further analysis requirements basis insights from variousanalyses.
• Drive Design of Experiments methodology for allimprovements.
• Lead the organization towards self-serve BI and Gen AIbased auto-insight generation.
• Work with Data COE and Digital Defense COE to drive datagovernance initiatives, data quality standards, ensuring data accuracy, andimplementing data security measures.
• Collaborate with Tech COE to ensure data infrastructure,systems, and tools are optimized to support efficient data collection, storage,and analysis..
• Provide actionableinsights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis, helpingthem make informed decisions and drive business growth and customersatisfaction growth.
• Partner withdata/ML engineers and vendor partners for input data pipes development and MLmodels automation
• Need to deploy real time ML models, expose ML outputsthrough APIs, and deliver solutions to production through the softwaredevelopment lifecycle.
• Develop andimplement a comprehensive analytics strategy and problem solving framework tosupport the organization’s business objectives.
• Guide the team to analyse data from various sources, including internal systems, third-partytools, and market research (as necessary), to identify trends, patterns, andopportunities.
• Collaborate withbusiness stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and developdashboards and reports to track and measure performance against these metrics..
