External Job Description
Job Purpose: Responsible for all Sales Finance and Customer Accounting operations in the Division/HO. The division comprises 3-4 regions, each covering one or two states, mainly focusing on Sales Finance & Analytics, Customer Accounting, Divisional and Regional P&L, Reports, MIS, Stakeholder management, Statutory compliance, and Internal Controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage critical accounting operations of the Division/HO sales team, including Customer Accounting, Sales Analytics, Spend Efficacy/Process Improvements, Overheads Analysis, and Divisional P&L.
- Ensure input accuracy, provisioning, and timely settlement of spends and customer schemes. Maintain customer ledger hygiene and ensure accounting accuracy.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate internally with Sales, Marketing, Corporate Accounts, Taxation, Finance, and IT; externally with Customers/Dealers to resolve queries and ensure proper dispatch of statements and scheme workings.
- Ensure 100% statutory compliance related to GST, Income Tax TDS, etc.
- Drive cost efficiency by monitoring spends, analyzing variances, and working on cost optimization projects.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate procurement, negotiate rates, ensure timely POs and payments, and maintain vendor account hygiene.
- People Management: Lead and mentor a team of executives to meet KPIs and support career development.
- Coordinate with divisional, depot, and brand teams for on-time dispatches and sharing MIS reports.
- Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports related to sales and commercial hierarchy.
- Identify and explore areas for process efficiency improvements and lead related projects as needed.
