Job summary

Valeo GTSC Electronics in Chennai, India seeks a Discipline Team Leader to manage the hardware team in a full-time on-site role. You will guide career development, drive project priorities, and ensure high-quality HW design across global centers.

You will deploy standard HW processes, contribute to supplier roadmaps, and lead deployment of design-for-cost and design-for-manufacturing strategies within Valeo’s framework.

Responsibilities

• Manages the HW team according to Valeo rules and plans career evolutions.
• Provides adequate trainings to develop competences for customers’ needs.
• Organizes HW projects and manages priorities; reports progress to Electronics manager.
• Leads HW designers located in Global Tech Centers; participates in knowledge sharing.
• Implements standard HW blocks and deployment of HW methodologies and reviews.
• Shapes supplier roadmaps with Purchasing department; ensures design to cost and to manufacturing.
• Deploys standard HW development processes and tools; improves efficiency via standards.
