Job Title: Director – US Tax & Compliance

Location: Delhi/NCR (Collaborating with US Partners)

We are looking for a highly motivated Tax Director to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee the firm’s US tax compliance and planning services, primarily for UHNW clients. You will lead a team of tax professionals, manage complex tax engagements, and provide strategic tax advisory services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax planning and compliance, with a preference for experience working with UHNW clients in the US.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Collaborate with the US-based Tax partner to train and develop tax staff in India.
• Manage the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations, private foundations, and international entities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that align with clients’ financial goals and mitigate tax liabilities.
• Stay current on US tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field; CPA/CA required. A master’s in taxation or LLB/LLM is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in US/India tax planning and compliance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, specifically serving UHNW clients.
• In-depth knowledge of US federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to manage complex tax situations and prepare complex tax returns.
