About Our Client

Job Description

• Lead the decommissioning and modernization of legacy applications within settlements and trade lifecycle domains.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions aligned with business objectives, drive cloud adoption, support governance and compliance requirements, and ensure optimal performance, risk management, and cost efficiency.
• Apply expertise in service-oriented and componentized architectures, API strategy, integration design, Java-based enterprise applications, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, and Camunda.
• Experience in financial services, distributed systems, DevOps/CI-CD practices, and large-scale mission-critical environments is highly preferred.

The Successful Applicant

• Strong academic background in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of securities technology within the financial services and investment banking industries.
• Strong architectural design expertise with a proven ability to define API strategies, establish integration frameworks, and align technology solutions with broader business objectives.
• Extensive experience in designing and delivering Java-based enterprise applications, focusing on scalable architectures, modular design principles, and performance optimization.
• Deep hands‑on knowledge of event‑driven architecture patterns, leveraging Apache Kafka for high‑throughput messaging, real‑time data streaming, and distributed system integration.
• Proficient in Kubernetes‑based container orchestration, driving scalable, resilient, and secure application deployments across complex enterprise environments.
• Practical expertise in workflow automation and business process management (BPM) platforms such as Camunda, enabling seamless process orchestration and integration within distributed microservices ecosystems.
