Qualifications

• CA with 15-20 years of international statutory and taxation experience.
• Hands-on experience with India taxes (corporate and GST).
• Experience advising clients on international tax and related compliance.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and process improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering timely service delivery for tax and statutory compliances.
• Ensure understanding of client requirements and timely filing of all tax returns and payments.
• Assist with India statutory financial closes and audits for the portfolio.
• Keep abreast of Indian and international tax developments impacting clients.
• Supervise tax team, ensuring work is distributed and aligned with workload.
• Maintain client files and documentation as per internal and external requirements.
• Identify business development opportunities for Vistra's other services.
• Support development of systems and standards to ensure quality.

Key responsibilities

As part of the team, role involves compliance services to the companys international client portfolio. Some responsibilities of the role are included below but this list is not exhaustive:

• Manage a portfolio of Clients, delivering timely service delivery as per the terms agreed towards tax and statutory compliances.
• Ensure a clear understanding of Client requirements and the terms for services to be provided. Enable timely filing of all the tax returns and tax payments.
• Assist with India statutory financials close and audit for the assigned portfolio.
• Keep abreast of developments in Indian and International tax that will impact the Client.
• Supervise tax team ensuring they are committed and motivated to servicing client needs and workload is effectively distributed throughout the team.
• Ensure files/documentation kept on Client’s behalf are maintained to appropriate internal and external legislative requirements.
• Review the circumstances of each Client to identify potential business development opportunities for other services offered by Vistra.
• Support the Company's development of systems and standards to ensure quality

Work with the Clients to keep compliances in order. Build a long lasting relationship and advise as required.

Key requirements

• Must be a CA with 15-20 years of International Statutory and Taxation experience
• Hands on experience on India taxes both corporate and GST.
• Familiar with international expansion business and experience of advising Clients on international Tax and related compliance issues.
• Good with Excel, PowerBI and Process Improvement tools
