Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD with 15+ years in regulated R&D environments.
• Minimum 5 years in leadership roles.
• Strong background in biology/biochemistry/biotech/chemistry or related field.
• Proven track record taking products from development to commercialization.
• Experience with FDA, ISO and GMP frameworks.
• Ability to manage matrix teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define R&D strategy, priorities and technical roadmaps
• Lead end-to-end product development using structured stage-gate processes
• Guide scientific teams working on antibody development, assay development and related technologies

• Ensure adherence to applicable quality systems and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

• PhD with 15+ years of relevant R&D experience in regulated industries
• At least 5 years in leadership roles
• Background in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering or a related discipline
• Demonstrated expertise in antibody development, ideally complemented by assay development
• Proven track record of taking products from development through commercialisation
• Working knowledge of relevant quality and regulatory frameworks, including FDA, ISO and GMP
• Experience leading multidisciplinary and matrix teams
• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, stakeholder-management and communication skills
