Job summary

Quince is seeking a Director of Quality/ QC Manager to lead hardlines quality across a global supply chain, overseeing factory audits and end‑to‑end inspections for furniture and lighting while raising quality engineering standards.

You will partner with manufacturing partners, guide in‑line production quality control, investigate issues, analyse root causes, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting of inspection results and non‑conformances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or relevant field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in quality control, ideally in consumer goods or retail.
• Quality control experience in a manufacturing environment and/or field quality experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across partners.
• Demonstrated proficiency in root cause analysis as applied in manufacturing.

In this role, you will oversee factory audits, manage end-to-end inspections for hardgoods like Furniture and Lighting, and lead our quality engineering standards across a global supply chain to ensure every product meets our high benchmarks.
