About The Role

This pivotal role will shape the recruitment strategy, build trusted relationships across India, and create a transparent, inclusive, and student-centered admissions experience for programs delivered through the campus in collaboration with the University

This role will be overall accountable for ensuring the operation of a high-functioning, target-driven and efficient student recruitment and admissions function. The role holder will be responsible for ensuring that the university can meet its strategic objectives in student recruitment by achieving its recruitment targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive admissions and enrollment strategy aligned with the India Campus academic portfolio, launch and growth plans, annual intake targets, market priorities, and student-access objectives.
• Lead and manage the Recruitment and Admissions team, establishing clear performance expectations, enrollment goals, service standards, and accountability for results.
• Oversee the prospective-student journey from initial enquiry through to application review, admission decision, offer acceptance, confirmed enrollment, and handover to the Registrar and student-support teams.
• To provide expert leadership at the university on all aspects of student recruitment.
• Ensure that admissions decisions are timely, fair, transparent, and consistently based on approved program requirements and admissions standards.
• Establish documented processes for application review, credential verification, admission decisions, conditional admission, exceptions, appeals, and enrollment confirmation.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximise applicant conversion, offer acceptance and enrolment outcomes in support of recruitment and intake targets.

• Formulate implementation plans, regularly monitoring and reviewing progress against these.
• Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to design campaigns that attract high-quality applicants.
• Collaborate with the marketing and outreach teams to build strong relationships with schools, colleges, universities, coaching and test-preparation networks, education consultants, employers, and community stakeholders across India, with particular depth in Northern India.[JA1.1][ti1.2]
• Ensure compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyse application and admissions data to inform decision-making and improve conversion rates.
• Ensure that applicant and enrollment data are accurate, complete, appropriately protected, and maintained in approved systems for campus operations and institutional reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Indian requirements, India Campus policies, he University requirements applicable to the campus, student privacy standards, and ethical recruitment and admissions practices.
• Coordinate with the University regarding programme requirements, admissions standards, data definitions, institutional reporting, public representations, and proposed changes that could affect the University programmes or credentials.
• Collaborate with the marketing and outreach teams to identify high-potential applicants, and conduct targeted outreach to drive effective students enrollment outcomes. Targeted outreach may include representing the University and the India Campus at education fairs, school and counsellor forums, employer events, and other high-value outreach platforms in India and, where relevant, internationally.
• To ensure resources are allocated appropriately to meet organisational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Indian data privacy, information security, health, safety, workplace regulations,relevant labour and occupational safety legislation, in accordance with University policies.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required and commensurate with the grade of post in accordance with university and departmental policies, procedures and codes of conduct.

Qualifications & Experience

• A degree in management, or a related field .
• Substantial experience in student admissions, preferably in higher education institutions .
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of driving results .
• Extensive experience in student recruitment and admissions across India, with strong understanding of regional markets, international higher education, and the expectations of students and families .
• Experience of developing and delivering student recruitment, admissions and enrolment strategies .
• Strong network among school counselors, coaching centers, and digital education platforms (D).
• Experience of managing admissions governance, admissions appeals and exception processes .
