Position Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Director of Nursing School to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a blend of academic expertise and industry experience to deliver impactful learning, research contributions, and collaborative engagements with industry partners.

Strategic & Institutional Development

• Institute Setup & Compliance: Ensure the institute meets INC's minimum requirements. Essentiality Certificate/No Objection Certificate from the State Government
• Recognition from the State Nursing Council and Examination Board
• Infrastructure Planning: Oversee development of classrooms, labs, library, and hostel facilities per INC standards

Academic Leadership

• Curriculum Oversight: Implement INC-prescribed syllabus and regulations for nursing programs
• Faculty Recruitment & Development: Hire qualified faculty and promote continuous professional development through workshops and training
• Research & Innovation: Encourage faculty and student research initiatives in nursing and healthcare

️ Student-Centric Responsibilities

• Admissions & Welfare: Ensure student intake aligns with INC-sanctioned strength and manage welfare, counseling, and placement activities
• Clinical Training Coordination: Facilitate hospital-based training and ensure clinical exposure meets INC standards

️ Administrative & Regulatory Compliance

• Liaison with Regulatory Bodies: Coordinate with INC, State Nursing Council, University, and other authorities for inspections, affiliations, and approvals
• Policy Implementation: Enforce policies on anti-ragging, gender equality, and ethical governance
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records for inspections, audits, and statutory compliance under Section 13 of the INC Act

Financial & Resource Management

• Budgeting & Fundraising: Prepare annual budgets and secure funding for infrastructure, scholarships, and research.
• Resource Allocation: Ensure optimal use of resources across academic and administrative functions

Required Qualifications

• Educational: Ph.D. Nursing , M.sc & B.sc Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience at the university/college level and a significant industry experience in Nursing and Hospital.
• Demonstrated research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Strong knowledge of Elderly Care, Wound Care, Pediatrics, In-Patients Care, Critical Care, BLS, EMR.
