Job summary

Vagaro in Ahmedabad, India, is hiring a Director of DevOps to shape the Azure-based platform and lead a talented team. The role emphasizes hands-on Azure experience, SRE culture, and scalable infrastructure across CI/CD, IaC, and observability.

You will partner with Security and Engineering to keep the platform safe and compliant while driving DR planning and FinOps initiatives. A strong leader with 12+ years in DevOps and 5+ years of leadership is ideal.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure and 5+ years leading teams.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience is essential.
• Experience running large-scale, mission-critical SaaS on Azure.
• Strong fundamentals in CI/CD, IaC, and reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Shape our DevOps & Platform Engineering vision: CI/CD, IaC, GitOps, safe deployments.
• Champion SRE culture with SLOs, error budgets, and reliability-first mindset.
• Architect and evolve Azure infrastructure for scale and performance.
• Build observability across metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
• Partner with Security and Engineering to keep the platform safe and compliant.
• Own our DR strategy and Azure FinOps initiatives.
• Lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing team of engineers.
