Vagaro seeks a Director of DevOps to lead our Azure-based SaaS platform in Ahmedabad. This role combines hands-on cloud practice with strategic leadership to scale our infrastructure, improve reliability, and drive efficient FinOps.

You will guide incident management, implement IaC, and foster a strong SRE culture while mentoring a talented engineering team. This office-based position emphasizes collaboration, architecture, and continuous delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure with hands-on leadership experience.
• Experience running large-scale SaaS on Azure and leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Shape DevOps and Platform Engineering vision for CI/CD, IaC, and safe deployments.
• Champion SRE culture with SLOs, error budgets, and reliability focus.
• Architect Azure infrastructure for scale, resilience, and performance.
• Build observability across metrics, logs, traces, and alerts.
• Partner with Security and Engineering to maintain safety and compliance.
• Own DR strategy and Azure FinOps initiatives.
• Inspire and develop a high-performing engineering team.

• A solid SRE foundation — incident management, chaos engineering, reliability practices
• Security know-how: Entra ID, Zero Trust, IAM/RBAC, secrets management
• Observability fluency: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Elastic
• 12+ years in DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure, with 5+ years leading teams
