Director of Data Analytics | B2C Portfolio Company

One of our B2C portfolio companies is hyper‑scaling, and they are now looking to hire a Director of Data Analytics to lead the team.

Responsibilities

• Redesign and optimize data models to support large‑scale analytics and faster decision‑making
• Define the tools and frameworks for data creation, transformation, and consumption
• Integrate behavioral and transactional data into structured, query‑optimized flat tables that support diverse analytics use cases
• Own analytics across mobile, web, marketing, product, and operations data streams
• Partner with product, marketing, CRM, operations, and finance teams to ensure data is democratized and actionable
• Establish data governance, quality standards, and best practices
• Drive adoption of self‑service analytics and empower teams

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of experience with at least 5 in data analytics leadership
• Strong track record of running analytics across mobile, web, marketing, product, and operations data ecosystems
• Deep technical expertise in data modeling, flat table structures, and query optimization for large‑scale systems
• Strong knowledge of modern data stack (SQL, ETL/ELT, cloud data warehouses like Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift, BI tools like Looker/PowerBI/ Tableau)
• Familiarity with machine learning workflows (data pipelines for ML, feature engineering, model monitoring) and ability to guide data scientists
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth and culturally contextual environment
• Prior experience with B2C products is an advantage
• A passion for the 1 to 10 journey
