Responsibilities
- Delivery Management
- Develop, review, and manage critical solutions and projects; assess project and account health.
- Partner with other technology practices to foster collaboration.
- Develop solutions and capabilities that differentiate the markets served.
- Collaborate with Client Partners to identify new opportunities and resource needs, driving account and practice growth.
- Performance Management
- Lead performance cycles, defining goals and measurement criteria.
- Conduct appraisal cycles and manage feedback for the practice.
- Build recommendations for compensation and benefits.
- Unit Operations
- Manage P&L through effective resource utilisation.
- Plan and execute day‑to‑day practice operations.
- Adjust operations to meet changing goals and demands.
- Work with HR and hiring teams to attract, retain, and deploy talent.
- Strategise, build, and streamline practices in coordination with sales and delivery teams.
Required Skills and Experience
- 15–20 years of overall experience leading data engineering and analytics, with a proven record in distributed team leadership.
- Hands‑on technical expertise executing data engineering and analytics programs.
- Experience managing large practice-level operations (150+ staff) in a tier‑1 services environment.
- Client management experience, preferably with onsite client‑facing responsibilities.
- Experience leading pre‑sales activities from offshore for new opportunities and proposals.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, able to handle escalations and own critical delivery issues.
- Top‑notch consulting skills in data and analytics domains and technologies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with Retail, Hi‑Tech, and Manufacturing domains.
