Job summary

AssetMark seeks an experienced Finance leader to establish and lead the Finance organization within our India GCC, partnering with US Finance to build scalable global operations across Controllership, FP&A, and Billing.

This leader will oversee accounting close, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis while driving transformation through standardization and automation and mentoring high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA/CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• 15 to 20 years of progressive Finance and Accounting experience.
• Experience leading Finance teams in a GCC/Shared Services/Global Business Services.
• Strong knowledge of India GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing Finance Operations (AP, AR, GL, Cash, T&E).
• Proven leadership in building high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication to convey metrics to diverse audiences.
• Big Four public accounting experience.
• Experience establishing/scaling a Finance org within a GCC.

Responsibilities

AssetMark is a leading wealth management platform dedicated to empowering financial advisors and the investors they serve. We are seeking an experienced Finance leader to establish and lead the Finance organization within our India GCC. Reporting to Finance leadership in the U.this individual will play a pivotal role in building and scaling a high performing Finance organization supporting Controllership, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Billing.

This leader will partner closely with US Finance leadership to build scalable global finance operations supporting key accounting processes while fostering a culture aligned with AssetMarks values across the India GCC. Lead and develop the Finance organization within the India GCC, fostering a culture aligned with AssetMarks values and mission. Oversee key parts of Finance operations, including Controllership, FP&A[ Financial Planning and Analysis ], and Billing.

Oversee operational accounting activities, including accurate and timely transaction recording, reconciliations, and close processes. Oversee FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.

Oversee Fee Billing activities and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong operational controls. Drive finance transformation through process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and monitor operational metrics and KPIs to measure performance and service delivery.

Build strong relationships with Finance and business leaders across the U.Maintain compliance with Indian accounting standards, U.GAAP, company policies, and internal controls. Support internal and external reporting requirements and audit activities.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• 15 to 20 years of progressive Finance and Accounting experience.
• Experience leading Finance teams in a Global Capability Center (GCC), Shared Services, or Global Business Services organization.
• Strong knowledge of India GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing Finance Operations, including AP, AR, GL, Cash Management, and T&E.
• Leadership experience building and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey key operating metrics and complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Big Four public accounting experience.

Experience establishing or scaling a Finance organization within a GCC.

Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite Financial Services, Wealth Management, or FinTech industry experience.

Experience leading finance transformation or process improvement initiatives.
