RSM India is seeking a Director of Data, Analytics & AI to lead client engagements, shape market-facing offerings, and drive enterprise-scale data transformation initiatives. This leader will operate at the intersection of strategy, architecture, and delivery, helping mid‑market and enterprise clients unlock value from data through modern platforms, advanced analytics, and AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data, analytics, and AI strategy engagements, including rapid assessments, maturity diagnostics, and roadmap development
- Build and expand executive relationships (CIO, CDO, CFO) to position RSM as a trusted advisor
- Drive pipeline growth and revenue through solutioning, RFP responses, and proactive client development
- Translate business outcomes into scalable data and AI solutions that unlock measurable value
Solution Strategy & Architecture
- AWS (Redshift, Glue, S3, SageMaker)
- Snowflake, Databricks (Lakehouse architectures)
- Data lakes, lakehouses, and modern data warehouses
- Real-time and batch data pipelines
- AI/ML and GenAI enablement frameworks
- Design scalable, secure, and governed data ecosystems aligned with enterprise architecture principles
Data, Analytics & AI Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of data engineering and data integration programs
- Business intelligence and advanced analytics solutions (Power BI, Tableau)
- AI/ML and GenAI use cases embedded into business workflows
- Ensure alignment to SDLC, DataOps, and MLOps practices
- Lead teams across data engineering, analytics, and data science to deliver high-quality client outcomes
Data Governance & MDM
- Establish and implement data governance frameworks, including data quality, metadata management, lineage, and stewardship
- Compliance with regulatory and industry standards
- Lead Master Data Management (MDM) strategy and implementation for key domains (customer, product, finance)
- Partner with clients to operationalize data ownership and accountability models
Practice & Capability Building
- Build and scale RSM India’s Data, Analytics & AI capability, including talent development, mentoring, team structuring, and high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and employee engagement
- Go-to-market offerings and reusable assets
- Alliances with hyperscalers and data platform providers
- Serve as a strategic liaison between U.S. and India teams to ensure alignment on priorities, resource planning, communication, and delivery execution
- Drive operational excellence across the India team through utilization management, delivery oversight, hiring, workforce planning, and scalable team management practices
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, cloud, and data modernization and incorporate into offerings
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, and AI, with at least 57 years in leadership roles
- Proven experience in a consulting or advisory capacity, delivering strategy through execution
- Demonstrated success building and scaling data practices and driving revenue growth
- Deep expertise across BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), data engineering, ETL, and data modeling (dimensional and 3NF), enterprise data platforms and modernization programs, AI/ML and GenAI solutions for business use cases, data governance, and MDM initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in data architecture or enterprise architecture
- Experience with DataOps, MLOps, and FinOps practices
- Professional certifications in cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) or data platforms
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
- Strong domain expertise in one or more industries
- Ability to connect data strategy to business outcomes and communicate with executive stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence deals and drive growth
- Hands‑on credibility with modern data and AI technologies
- Collaborative leader who can operate across global, cross‑functional teams
