Job summary

Eurofins seeks an experienced Software Engineering Director to lead large-scale programs, drive AI-powered tooling adoption, and ensure high-quality delivery across global teams.

This role blends technical leadership with delivery governance, stakeholder management, and hands-on understanding of modern AI engineering ecosystems to enable scalable, enterprise-grade software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of software engineering and delivery management experience.
• 5+ years in leadership roles managing enterprise-scale delivery programs.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML tools, Agile and DevOps, and enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering delivery across multiple Digital Online programs and products.
• Define engineering strategy, architecture governance, and delivery frameworks.
• Manage large delivery teams including developers, QA staff.
• Drive Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices across programs.
• Contribute to engineering strategy, architecture governance, and delivery frameworks.
• Ensure delivery timelines, quality standards, and budget adherence.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted software engineering tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Evaluate and implement tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI APIs, Microsoft AI services, Google AI, and Amazon AI services.
• Enable AI-driven automation in coding, testing, documentation, monitoring, and deployment.
• Define governance, security, and compliance standards for AI-enabled development.
• Partner with executive leadership, clients, and business stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps.
• Present delivery metrics, engineering health, and transformation initiatives to leadership teams.
• Build strong customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives leveraging cloud, AI, automation, and analytics.
• Establish engineering KPIs, operational excellence frameworks, and continuous improvement programs.
• Mentor engineering leaders and build high-performing teams.
