Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with disabilities in a day-center setting in El Cajon. You will help clients build life and social skills while providing compassionate, person-centered care.

We value reliable, patient team players who communicate well and stay organized in a dynamic environment. Prior experience is preferred, bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six (6) months of experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

We are hiring aDirect Support Professionals to support adults with disabilities in a day center setting. In this role, you’ll help clients build independence, engage in meaningful activities, and develop essential life skills in a supportive environment.

In this role you will fill in for scheduled staff when they are unavailable. Example: someone is out sick or someone is on vacation.

Hours and Schedule: Vary

Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65
