Job summary

U.S. Bancorp India is seeking a loan analysis professional to verify and own the outbound pipeline, ensuring timely progression of loans through the approval process.

The role requires reviewing documents, coordinating with onshore teams, and maintaining strong customer service and adherence to lending guidelines.

Job Description

1. 1.This positionis responsible forperforming loan analysis verification activitiesand outbound pipeline ownership. Provides overall problem resolution for operational issues and has a clear understanding of all required stipulations to efficiently move loans through the loan approval process.
2. 2. Takes ownership ofinboundfilesand performs necessary file reviews to ensure file completion.
3. 3. InitiatesNotice of Incomplete, if needed,to obtain required, outstandingdocuments (e.g., paystubs, tax returns, divorce decrees,homeownersinsurance, financial statements, etc.) necessary to progress the loan forward and complete verifications.
4. 4. Maintains a high level of customer service and pipeline management to ensure production goals are met.
5. 5. Reviews the loan file and application for accuracy and completeness.
6. 6. Escalates issues or problems if unable to resolve, by engaging with the onshore DCLS.
7. 7. Reviews andnotatesdocumentation to underwriting for review.
8. 8. Delivers answers on loans in process, processes, underwriting guidelines, documentation and next stepstobroaderFulfillmentteam or management as needed.
9. 9. May perform other duties as needed or assigned.
10. 10.Actively ensures compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements,policiesand procedures. Activelyparticipatesin any required corporate and business line training in these areas.

Under minimal supervision review customer documentation and make approval decisions on moderately complex accounts.

• Ability to navigate multiple software applications at a time.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of the Home Equity lending process
• Basic understanding of foundational lending compliance and regulations requirements

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Home Equity products
• Knowledge of underwriting guidelines
• Understanding of complex tax documentation, including that for self-employed borrowers

Work Mode: WFO

Shift Timings : 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM
